Our Vision and Mission

Speak Out Illinois LLC was incorporated in January 2023 with the Goal to Provide Advocacy and Outreach to Victims of Violence and Abuse while also providing General Outreach to the Communities of Central Illinois about Services, Resources and Programs Available.

We also work with Community Partners in Central Illinois to promote Low-Income Resources or Programs for Individuals, Families and Seniors.

Our History

Founded by Two Domestic Violence Survivors who envisioned making a difference in their community by assisting others going through the same difficulties and needing help or wanting to make a change in their life.

We believe you can't put a price on fleeing from Violence or Abuse.

Jacob Partee
CEO & Founder | Notary Public

As a Survivor of Domestic Violence and Entrepreneur, Jacob founded Speak Out Illinois in January 2023. Jacob is a Certified Safety Planning Specialist and Notary Public in the State of Illinois. Jacob holds CPR & First Aid Certification, Training in the care of Individuals with Dementia and Customer Service Experience of 7+ Years.

Shanika Pehm
Chief Operating Officer | Co-Founder

Shanika is the Chief Operating Officer of Speak Out Illinois LLC and Co-Founder. Shanika works daily to assist in overseeing Event Management, Partnerships, Community Services & Development.
